Jingshan in Yuhang advances a high-standard matcha raw material base

Yuhang District is building a high-standard matcha raw material base with Jingshan Town as its core. It is also preparing to establish a national matcha technology innovation center.^[1]

Currently, Yuhang has more than 20 matcha producers. In 2025, the district's matcha output accounted for nearly one-third of China's total, with output value exceeding 540 million yuan. From January to August 2026, matcha output in Jingshan exceeded 5000 tonnes, while production value rose 130% year on year.^[1]
