Pure Tea, Latte, and Baking: How to Choose JIANGRONGHAO Matcha

Published JIANGRONGHAOContent responsibility and correctionsUpdated

When choosing matcha, first clarify the actual intended use. JIANGRONGHAO currently offers three matcha products: Ceremonial Grade Matcha comes in a 30g tin, suitable for preparation with plain water; Beverage Grade Matcha comes in a 50g pack, suitable for making matcha lattes; Food Grade Matcha comes in a 100g pack, suitable for baking and food production. These three products have different specifications and preparation recommendations, corresponding to pure drinking, mixed drinking, and baking uses respectively.[1][2][3]

If preparing tea with plain water is the main drinking method, Ceremonial Grade Matcha is the direct choice. Before use, sift the tea powder, add a small amount of warm water to form a smooth paste, then add more water and whisk with a chasen. Ceremonial Grade Matcha is packaged in a tin with a net weight of 30g, suitable for preparing tea alone without adding milk or other ingredients.[1]

When making matcha lattes, the specifications and preparation recommendations of Beverage Grade Matcha are more suitable for such scenarios. Mix the tea powder with a small amount of warm water until smooth, then add milk or plant-based milk; for cold drinks, add ice cubes. Sweetness and concentration can be adjusted according to personal preference. Beverage Grade Matcha has a net weight of 50g.[2]

For baking and food production, Food Grade Matcha is specifically designed for this purpose, with a net weight of 100g. Before use, sift the tea powder, then mix with other ingredients. The specific amount should be added according to the recipe used; for new recipes, it is recommended to make a small test batch first. Food Grade Matcha is not primarily intended for direct brewing and drinking.[3]

If you are unsure about the actual performance of a particular matcha, you can first purchase a 20g paid sample for comparison. Samples are available for loose leaf tea and matcha; prices and available specifications are shown on the corresponding product pages.[5]

After determining the intended use and specifications, please prepare the following information before requesting a quote: tea type is matcha, specification is Ceremonial Grade, Beverage Grade, or Food Grade, estimated quantity, intended use, packaging requirements, and complete delivery address. If the estimated order amount exceeds USD 1000, or if there is a need for ongoing supply, please contact Jiang Han for a special quote. Providing this information helps both parties confirm product, quantity, packaging, payment method, and delivery arrangements.[5]

When purchasing for the EU market, pesticide residues, heavy metals, and production hygiene are important items to verify in matcha quality documentation. Please contact JIANGRONGHAO to confirm the testing, traceability, and applicable certification documents for the corresponding batch. Test results should include items, values, units, methods, limits of quantification, sample batch, report date, and laboratory information.[1]

Please check the product pages for specifications, prices, and currency symbols. Inventory, quantity, payment, and delivery arrangements need to be confirmed by both parties; the website does not currently offer online payment. Weight discounts for loose leaf tea and matcha apply to 200g, 400g, and 1kg specifications; these specifications are already priced with the discount and cannot be further reduced. Gift boxes, tea cakes, and tea ware do not apply the loose leaf weight discount and are quoted according to their respective product specifications. Other specifications are based on the amounts on the corresponding product pages.[4][5]

Stock preparation and shipping times are confirmed per specific order. Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination country or region, complete delivery address, order weight, and packaging plan; a quote is provided after the plan is confirmed.[5]

You can add the desired matcha to the inquiry cart, or contact Jiang Han via email, phone, or WhatsApp (email: han731222@gmail.com, phone: +86 139 2283 3853). It is recommended to first purchase a 20g paid sample for comparison, then determine the purchase quantity based on your actual experience.[4][5]
