Tencha production line officially starts operation in Zhaoping, Guangxi
On 10 October, a tencha production line started operation in the Zhaoping Modern Tea Industrial Park in Guangxi. The line was jointly built by Guangxi Jiangjunfeng Tea Group and Zhaoping Yuchacun Tea Company through technical cooperation, with a total investment of 13 million yuan, of which 9.5 million yuan came from support funds provided by China National Aviation Holding. The line uses high-temperature steam fixation and multi-stage mesh-belt drying, with fully automated continuous operation.[1]
The project includes two new tencha production lines, each with a fresh leaf processing capacity of 500 kg per hour. The renovated factory buildings and supporting facilities cover a total area of 2,000 square metres, achieving an annual tencha production capacity of 200 tonnes. In addition, the project manages 2,000 mu of organic tea gardens belonging to Guangxi Jiangjunfeng Tea Group, promoting their transformation towards a standardised matcha raw material base management model.[1]
