Tea Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences Travels to Jianhe and Leishan in Guizhou for Industrial Research and Technology Support
From October 14 to 15, Jiang Yongwen, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Tea Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, led a team to Jianhe County and Leishan County in Guizhou Province to conduct industrial research and technology support work. During the research, Jiang Yongwen and the delegation visited local tea gardens, production bases, tea enterprises, and industrial parks to gain on-site understanding of the situation, and held separate discussions with relevant leaders and representatives of tea enterprises from the two counties. They exchanged views on optimizing the variety structure of tea plants, green prevention and control in tea gardens, improving tea processing techniques, and developing talent teams, and put forward opinions and suggestions on promoting quality improvement and efficiency gains in the county-level tea industry.[1]
In Leishan County, as leader of the Leishan County tea industry advisory group, Jiang Yongwen focused on researching local tea garden development, intensive tea processing, and derivative product development, and provided technical guidance on related issues. According to the Tea Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, since the establishment of the industry advisory group, experts from the institute have continued to promote standardized tea garden development, processing technology improvement, and brand communication in Leishan County, supporting quality improvement and brand development for “Leishan Silver Ball Tea.”[1]
The Tea Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences stated that, in the next step, it will continue to leverage its strengths in science, technology, and talent, further deepen cooperation between the institute and localities, and provide technical support for the high-quality development of the tea industry in Jianhe County and Leishan County. The areas covered by this research—variety structure, green prevention and control, processing techniques, and talent teams—also reflect several specific focal points for technological upgrading in tea-producing regions.[1]
