Tongren matcha exports reached 860 tonnes from January to September, up 80% year-on-year

Guizhou Guicha Group said it had shipped 42 tonnes of high-altitude matcha produced to EU standards to markets in Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and North America, with further overseas orders continuing to arrive.^[1]

Tongren region matcha exports totalled 860 tonnes from January to September, an 80 percent increase over the same period. Guizhou Guicha Group also stated that its products have been sent to more than 60 countries and regions including Japan and Sweden, reflecting a transition from raw material exports to branded product exports.^[1]
