Deep in the clouds and mist of Guidong County, Chenzhou City, tea gardens spread along the mountain contours. Huang Rongjun is a tea grower here, with three generations of his family accompanied by the tea mountains. In the past, they depended on the weather and managed by experience, picking in spring and pruning in autumn, working from sunrise to sunset. However, with intensifying market competition and rising consumer demands for tea quality, traditional cultivation methods gradually revealed bottlenecks.[1]

In January this year, Huang Rongjun participated in the special training 'Guidong County High-Quality Farmer Cultivation Important Agricultural Products (Tea) Production and Management Entity Capability Enhancement Training Class' organized by the county. The seven-day training covered multiple modules including tea production, tea art, tea garden ecological cultivation and management techniques, scientific prevention and control of tea plant pests, tea processing technology development trends, and e-commerce platform operations. The trainers used easy-to-understand language combined with on-site cases for hands-on teaching, opening a new world of digital agriculture for him.[1]

After the training, his thinking and actions changed significantly. Previously, he only filmed the tea leaves when making videos; now he has learned composition and camera movement, knowing to capture the growth process of tea from flowering to fruiting, to film the details of his careful management, and to film the satisfied smiles of consumers when tasting. Editing is no longer a challenge; he learned to use software to add subtitles and background music to videos, and even uses artificial intelligence to generate vivid copy. What surprised him even more is the magic of AI: it can quickly generate promotional posters for his tea garden, tailor e-commerce promotional copy based on tea varieties and selling points, and even simulate livestream interaction scenarios, allowing him to rehearse livestream sales pitches in advance.[1]

Now, Huang Rongjun understands the need to take initiative and use the power of technology to 'promote' his tea. In the future, he plans to apply all the knowledge he has learned: on one hand, continuously shoot high-quality short videos to record the pastoral life of tea cultivation and build his own tea brand; on the other hand, open an e-commerce livestream room, use AI to optimize livestream scripts and product introductions, and sell his hometown tea across the country. He also wants to share these skills with nearby growers, leading everyone to learn and use AI together, develop collectively, and let the high-mountain ecological tea fragrance spread to thousands of households.[1]
